A. It is impossible to guarantee 100% safety, whether you are purchasing goods or services offline or on the internet, but we can reduce the risks by dealing with companies that take customer service seriously.

Q. How can a commercial organisation maintain its integrity? |
A. BRB Network has built its integrity and reliability into its monitoring system by providing information openly to consumers online.
BRB Network facilitates customers of its members to provide feedback about the business directly into its online Ratings/Reviews and Complaints systems. Since we only provide the system and consumers/customers provide ratings about a member this ensures the highest level of objectivity and independence. Any complaints or ratings given to a member by a customer are not edited, once its published online after security checks and approval by the complaints department. |

Q. How does BRB Network ensure that reports filed on businesses are valid? |
| A. Since our system is designed to resolve merchant/consumer disputes through self regulation, BRB does not mediate complaints received from consumers. However, valid e-mail addresses are required with all reports to provide for confirmation, accountability and follow up. Complaints from non-customers, and reports that can not be confirmed are automatically rejected. Further, merchants are immediately notified when a consumer files a report on their business and are allowed to post resolutions or rebuttals to reports. BRB does investigate reports of malicious filings. |

Q. How does the BRB Network system resolve business/consumer disputes? |
A. Our dispute resolution system is incentive based and our members follow our code of practice on a self-regulatory basis. BRB Network's registered members, seeking to build trust with online consumers, agree to openly display their customer satisfaction ratings. Because their ratings are available to consumers, businesses have a high incentive to resolve complaints amicably and quickly.
Businesses recognise that they must either resolve complaints quickly and constructively, or risk developing a trend of customer dissatisfaction that can compromise their registration. Ultimately, the dispute is arbitrated in the court of public opinion. |

Q. Why do some members have ratings but no reviews/comments? |
| A. Rating and reviews are completely dependent on customers reviewing a business. BRB Network does not have any influence over a customer entering comments about the member company. Unedited ratings are always openly displayed and all comments are recorded and sent to both BRB Network and the member company. That is why you might see some members that have been rated but no comments have been posted by the customer. |

By subscribing to our monitoring service you agree to display your customer satisfaction record openly and provide consumers proof that your business is trustworthy and reliable.
